Eszter Katona graduated in 2018 with a Master's degree in Survey Statistics from the Faculty of Social Sciences of ELTE and in March 2023 she received her PhD degree in Interdisciplinary Social Research from the Doctoral School of Sociology of ELTE TáTK. Her PhD research focused on the usability of natural language processing in corruption research. She is a researcher at the ELTE Research Center for Computational Social Science and a data scientist and data visualization expert at the Government Transparency Institute.
